City Tour in Cusco

The tour starts at the impressive Colonial Cathedral in Cusco that contains over 400 paintings from the Cusquenan School, several altars. After that we go to visit the Temple of the Sun, main religious center of the Incas dedicated to the Sun Cult. According to the chroniclers, the walls of this temple were entirely covered with gold.
From here we go by bus the visit the four ruins at less than 8 km from Cusco, including Sacsayhuamán, famous for its enormous carved rocks and Q´enqo y Tambomachay.

- Not Included: Visitors Ticket, entrance fee of the Ccoricancha (which is US$ 2.00 and not included in the Visitors Ticket) since it is run by the Religous Order of Santo Domingo and not by the Cusco Municipality.

Sacred Valley of the Incas
Ollantaytambo
The tour starts at 8:30 am. Everyone will be picked up from the hotel and we leave by bus to Pisac, where the excursion really starts.
In Pisac we visit the traditional colorful Sunday market. From here we continue the trip to Urubamba where we wil have lunch. After lunch we will visit Ollantaytambo, a small town which is a real sample of the level of architecture that Incas reached. Here we visit the village itself, with the many many original Inca Walls, and the ruins. On our way back to Cusco we will pass and visit the typical market and archeological site of Chincheros.

Machupicchu Full Day
Machupicchu
The traditional way to get Machu Picchu is by train. The departure is from the San Pedro station in Cusco early in the morning. It takes nearly 3 hours and a half to get to Aguas Calientes, following the course of Vilcanota River. In Machu Picchu we have about 2,5 for our guided tour and another hour and a half to explore the ruins individually. The train back to Cusco departs around 4:00 pm.

South Valley Tour
Tipon
08:30 am. In the morning we will pick you up, then start the trip to Tipon (3500 m.s.n.m.) visit the archeological complex walk around the agriculture platforms and see the water fountains, then visit Pikillaqta, and finally visit Andahuaylillas, where the most important atractive is the Saint Meter Church very famous for its painting and decorations.
We will return to Cusco at 1:30 pm. in the afternoon.
